Hello from a PR university student

Hi, my name is Lucy Thornhill and I'm a first year Leeds Metropolitan University student. I am studying public relations and, as part of my course I am spending some time with Bruce Marshall Associates. Presently I am working at Aagaard Hanley where we are setting up its new blog, Crafty Plasterer.

One of my first introductions to blogging was during a lecture with senior lecturer Richard Bailey when he showed us how easy it was to create a post. He created a post regarding a course task which was to get a letter published in a newspaper, I was one of the students who had a letter published the Daily Mail.

Over the next few weeks I hope to add posts to the blog on a regular basis and am looking forward to covering a range of topics from the products to the workshop.

New blog

Hi, my name's Karen Marshall from Bruce Marshall Associates public relations consultancy. We're helping Aagaard Hanley to set up its new blog Crafty Plasterer. The blog will be about all aspects of interior design, lighting, plastering, building and restoration. In fact anything that's remotely connected with what Aagaard Hanley does, which is create beautiful and functional objects out of plaster. This covers a broad range of activity from manufacturing a wide range of plaster lighting to helping to restore the plaster work in historic buildings and creating new plasterwork interiors in modern buildings.
